The Odder State Of Mind

On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the brand The Odder Side We invited Radzka to show you and New York with her eyes. It is a city that has always fascinated us and inspired us to create, is a real mecca of artists and creative souls. From the lively streets to secluded cafes - New York is a place that never ceases to amaze us and motivate us to continue working. Over the past decade, we have also realized several of our campaigns, which have been a unique experience for us and we still love to come back to them! Together with Radzka, traversing the iconic districts in our jubilee dresses of Dalia and Chilli, let's immerse ourselves in the atmosphere of this amazing city and see what makes it so unique. Time for an unforgettable journey around New York!

New York, Concrete Jungle
Where dreams are made of
There 's Nothing you can’t to
Now you’re in new york
These Strets Will Make You Feel Brand New
Big Lights Will Inspire You
Let 's Hear it for new york
New York, New York

This is how Alicia Keys and Jay-Z sang about New York in the iconic song "Empire State of Mind". New York - Mecca of all artists. From Street-Art to the Broadway theater stage. The only place that seems to be the center of everything that has been created in the world - culture, art, fashion, culinary, architecture. A city that apparently never sleeps. I came to find out about it on my own skin. Raised on series, movies, music and literature about this place, I wanted to check how much it is only a metaphor, anocated picture, a promise "something more", and how true.

After more than a week spent intensively visiting the New York district of the district, I already know that this is not a pop culture shell. It is a city that is teeming with life on every square meter. The amount of inspirations that I encounter at every turn just knocks me down. History is also intertwined with the USA The Odder Side, which celebrates its decades this year. The girls have completed many campaigns here over the past decade, and have recently opened pop-up in LA! Traversing the next districts of New York in the jubilee TOS collection, I feel that I am an extension of this story, its natural continuation, just like each of you wearing clothes with The Odder tag.

Let me get on a small trip. You will see that it will be worth it!

We start with High Lane, Chalsea Market and Little Island. Due to the high temperatures and the desire to feel at ease, but at the same time stylishly, I jumped in Bestsellery Dah in whitewhich I mixed with Jordani by Travis Scott X Nike. And so we start our adventure in High Line. This is a unique city park built on former railway lines, running along the west side of Manhattan. This is a green place, full of public art and beautiful views of the city, attracts both residents and tourists, offering a quiet area for walks and relaxation in the heart of New York, vibrant. Next we went towards Chelsea Market, which is not only a paradise for gourmets, but also a Mecca for fashion and design lovers. It is located in the former National Biscuit Company factory building, where Oreo cookies were produced. It offers a unique atmosphere with numerous boutiques, handicraft stores and unique places where you can taste local specialties. In turn, Little Island is a modern park on the water that was created on the characteristic pillars on the Hudson River. The founder of this island is Diane von Fürstenberg, sŁynna New York designer and history says that the constructions of concrete pillars inspired swith heels of her pins. This innovative place combines green spaces, amphitheater and a picnic space, creating the perfect background for fashion photo sessions and relaxing walks among beautiful views of the city and the river. Total must see!

For the next day of New York adventure I chose an energetic, long dress with a non -accidental color and name: red chilli. Trust, it wasn't a coincidence ... I, the biggest fan of the series "Sex in the big city" that this planet wore, I went on that day in the trail of Carrie Bradshaw. Now you understand: a special day = a unique styling. And the best -selling chilli cut is ideal for the urban edition, as well as for special summer outings.

The Greenwich Village district, in which Carrie lived, and in which Sarah Jessica Parker lives into this role, she greeted us beautiful sLoan and mass of inspiring corners. This is the area known for its rich artistic history. It used to be a place where Bohema lived - artists, writers and musicians, creating a unique atmosphere. Today, Greenwich Village is a calm and beautiful district, full of greenery, romantic alleys and charming cafes, bookstores and boutiques. Narrow streets are decorated with low, brick houses with stairs leading to the front door, which gives them a unique charm. While visiting, we visited the Carrie Bradshaw house at Perry Street, do you meet? I could not resist visiting Magnolia Bakery, sThe Łinna Confectionery, where Carrie and her friends ate delicious Rainbow Cupcakes, which I was tempted to. The taste of these colorful cupcakes is as unforgettable as the scene from the series.

The next stop was Rosecrans Florist & Cafe - a charming cafe combined with a florist, in which the smell of fresh flowers rises. In this green, beautifully fragrant place, I took a place at the table at the window and enjoyed the moment. I could not miss a boutique with paper articles, full of beautiful notebooks and feathers, perfect for a gift or as a small souvenir.

We also visited a boutique with shoes from Sarah Jessica Parker, where you can find the latest collections of this fashion icon. At the end of the day, we went to Washington Square Park to admire Washington's majestic arch and enjoy the moment in this iconic New York park. Greenwich Village is a place that impresses at every step with its atmosphere and unique style, and every walk here is a real pleasure.

I am glad that you "spent" these two days with me! If you are hungry for even more recommendations from NYC, then come to my Instagram - www.instagram.com/radzka/ :)
