"The location of our Playa Pleasure Issue campaign is unique not only because of its setting but, most importantly, because of the people. Mikkel, who invited us to his hotel, is also a photographer, and it was he who took the photos for the campaign. An extraordinary atmosphere of lightness, carefree joy, and freedom accompanied us throughout the trip. Mikkel pays attention to every detail of his hotel, which is why you can strongly feel the soul of the place and authentic hospitality. At times, we forgot that we were in the middle of producing a campaign for our brand, getting swept away by the joy of being here and now and enjoying what surrounded us," says Justyna Przygońska.
Our Pleasure Issue campaign is a story about pleasure in its purest form – about lightness, mindfulness, and consciously experienced carefree joy. It's a story where we celebrate rest and the extraordinary aura of the surroundings: the sun, the scent of the ocean, and a sense of freedom. We create a space where we feed our senses with the beauty of intentionally chosen objects, so that every detail has its own soul and story.
At Hotel Marqi, our daily life flowed at its own pace. Time slowed down there, and we paused for a moment to breathe more deeply and soak in the atmosphere of tranquility.
The star of our Playa campaign was model Noemi Hewa, who found complete freedom and naturalness in the space of Hotel Marqi. Our intention was to showcase the collection in its most authentic light. We opted for natural light, no makeup, and minimalist styling that allows you to see the details hidden in the textures of the fabrics and refined cuts.
"Playa is a collection that always brings us the most emotion. Designing it in winter, we eagerly await its premiere. We carefully select materials that gently embrace the skin and make us feel light and natural. It's a collection that breathes – we focus on informal cuts that encourage comfort and freedom. Transparencies, cutouts, and lace textures are details that add lightness and emphasize femininity," says Brygida Handzelewicz Wacławek.
In the collection, we focused on natural cotton. We added subtle lace and transparent elements that give the designs our characteristic expression. You'll find both summer mini dresses and loose trousers or long skirts. We've ensured a variety of models, so you can create styles perfect for the beach, everyday wear, and evening outings.
Our color palette is based on shades of brown, ecru, and black, enriched with grays and subtle accents of red.
Among the dresses, you'll certainly be drawn to the sensual and vacation-ready Michelle dress, which delights with its unique cut and intricate openwork weave. Our Ten Dress in brown stands out with its loose form, openwork cutouts, and a neckline subtly exposing the collarbones. Meanwhile, the Pico Dress, which we've prepared in white and black, strikes a perfect balance between urban freedom and delicate sensuality.
In the Playa 26 collection, we are also bringing back your beloved Buenos dress in ecru, made from a light fabric with a unique texture.
As for skirts, we designed the Dip model for you – a long skirt with a sensual slit exposing the leg, finished with romantic lace. In a deep shade of brown, we offer the Purple Maxi skirt with a softly flowing silhouette. Midi length enthusiasts will surely appreciate our Ornament model – a high-waisted pencil skirt with unique openwork embroidery. It is perfectly complemented by the Ornament top made from the same material, creating a cohesive set.
A strong accent of the collection is our Tulum top in an intense shade of orange, with an effectively exposed back. For a more minimalist look, we offer the Chloe Top in classic white and an A-line cut. We also want to draw your attention to the Sign shirt – colorfully expressive, with a loose fit and embroidered finish.
The collection also features intriguing trouser models. Avorio are loose trousers made from breathable ecru fabric, ideal for the warmest days. The Solage model is a perfect complement to the Tulum top, while our knitted Judy trousers in a shade of green add a touch of freshness to the collection.
Among our more striking proposals are also the knitted Ezra dress with a deep neckline and a subtle ruffle on the sleeves, and the Feliz trousers covered with cotton, embroidered lace.
In creating Playa 26, we focused on lightness, naturalness, and contemporary femininity. The collection was made from natural fabrics, predominantly cotton. We designed it not only to look beautiful but, most importantly, to provide you with comfort. Because that, in our opinion, is what the pleasure of summer days is all about.
The entire collection and the Pleasure Issue campaign are our tribute to summer memories, spontaneous adventures, and moments of relaxation. For us, it's a return to places and moments where we feel free and light – where clothes become a tool for self-expression and creating unique memories.
For us at The Odder Side, June is a month of beloved returns. Once again, we are returning to Mallorca, where a selection of our summer collection products will be available.
"Mallorca is a place we return to almost every summer. We are happy that this season you will also be able to find our summer pop-up in Obsolete," says Justyna Przygońska.
However, this is not the end of the new things we have prepared for you this season. Soon, The Odder Side's offer will be supplemented with jewelry elements that will become a natural complement to the collection.
"Jewelry is a project we have been working on for a long time. Our first proposal may surprise you, because we like unconventional solutions. We create things that we ourselves would like to wear, but could not find. This is how the best ideas are born," says Brygida Handzelewicz Wacławek.
Our Playa 26 collection will be available in brick-and-mortar boutiques and at www.theodderside.com from June 9, 2026. We invite you!
