There's something about autumn that calms us. It's that time of year when the days start to get shorter, the air becomes cooler, and we swap airy dresses for soft sweaters. At The Odder Side, we love this time of year – it perfectly fits our style, combining comfort with effortless elegance. Autumn is a time when fashion gains layers, and we celebrate the best of it: from oversized cardigans to long coats and, of course, our iconic long-sleeved tops.

One October weekend, we decided to sweeten these cooler days for you with something special – a cardamom or cinnamon bun, which you could get at our stores in Poznań, Wrocław, and Kraków. Nothing warms you up like the aroma of cinnamon in the air as you browse a new collection, right?

When we think of autumn, we imagine weekend trips out of town, tea with honey and cloves, long walks in the park, and of course, outfits that are both comfortable and unique. We love layers – it's the perfect time to pair our favorite longsleeve with a soft, oversized Wonders sweater and a pair of our favorite F1 jeans. And if the day turns into an evening out? Just add heeled ankle boots and a coat, and the look is ready. Autumn is a game of details – a thrown-on Orlando scarf, a Chunky beanie, and warm, muted colors: caramel, chestnut, graphite.

A hygge-filled city

Poznań, Wrocław and Krakow - these cities have something special when autumn arrives. In Krakow, start with a walk through Planty Park and the Old Town, but don't forget to stop at Kaffe Bageri Stockholm. This is a place where Swedish cinnamon buns and aromatic coffee are all the rage. It's also worth checking the calendar of the Museum of Contemporary Art, MOCAK, because in addition to exhibitions, they often host great artistic events there.

In Wrocław, Nadodrze is a true paradise for design and coffee lovers. Stop by Bema Café for a delicious pour-over, and then head towards Ostrów Tumski, the oldest, historic part of the city. Wrocław also attracts art lovers to BWA Wrocław, a gallery that regularly hosts works by both local artists and international exhibitions.

Poznań, in turn, delights with its unexpected nooks and crannies. After a walk in Cytadela Park, which looks phenomenal in autumn colors, it's worth visiting the café bardzo lub Miel. Don't forget about the Arsenał Municipal Gallery, where interesting contemporary art exhibitions are held, perfectly fitting into the atmospheric and somewhat mysterious vibe of this city.

Cinnamon bun, cardamom bun and you

Now that the weekend full of delicious Swedish cinnamon and cardamom buns is behind us, we invite you to prepare our favorite autumn tea. All you need is:

• Tea (preferably black or herbal)
• 1 pinch of cinnamon
• 1 teaspoon of cardamom
• 1-2 teaspoons of honey (to taste)
• Juice of 1/2 lemon

Now, just relax. Think of all those moments you can spend with friends, walking in the park, listening to your favourite Angus & Julia Stone songs, or lounging on the couch with your favourite series. Autumn is a time for balancing energetic days with evenings spent in a hygge atmosphere. It's these details – layers of clothes, warm drinks, and peaceful walks – that make autumn our favourite time of year.
