The "Girls of…" series celebrates inspiring women from unique locations, highlighting their strong ties to their communities and the world around them. This time, we traveled to the breathtaking city of Zakopane, nestled in the heart of the Polish Tatra Mountains. This project is not just about beautiful landscapes and rich culture; it is, above all, about the extraordinary women who call Zakopane home.

Zakopane is a place that many of us know: it's where many of us first learned to ski, spent winter holidays, and discovered local culture and regional cuisine. We have always wondered what life is like for girls growing up in this unique place – surrounded by nature, traditional music, architecture, art, and craftsmanship.

We were incredibly fortunate to meet five amazing women who shared their passions, dreams, and deep connection to this place with us:

Through their stories, we discovered the true essence of Zakopane: wild, powerful, and timelessly beautiful. They welcomed us into their world, showcasing the power of nature, the importance of tradition, and the joy that can be found in pursuing dreams.

We thank these inspiring women for opening their hearts and the mountains to us. Their stories remind us of the importance of nurturing our roots and finding beauty in life's simple moments.
