Essence SS26 Collection

The new Essence collection from The Odder Side for the SS26 season is a harmonious blend of elegance and freedom that remains relevant for years to come. Essence is a unique capsule, appearing for the second time in the brand's portfolio, and simultaneously making its debut as a spring/summer collection. The line is based on refined minimalism and versatile wardrobe essentials, made from high-quality, natural materials. It embodies the brand's characteristic aesthetic – simple silhouettes, soft textures, and consciously designed details that combine freedom, femininity, and modern minimalism.

The face of the spring Essence collection is Vanelli Melli – for years, a muse to the brand's founders, Justyna Przygońska and Brygida Handzelewicz-Wacławek. “Mel perfectly embodies the idea behind the Essence line. Talent, delicacy, and creativity are qualities that caught our attention years ago,” says Justyna Przygońska, co-founder of the brand.

The Essence collection plays with openwork structures, subtle sheerness, and softly draping fabrics. The Neil dress in an off-white shade, made from a blend of cupro and viscose, gently flows over the silhouette. The Annabel’s shirt, thanks to its unique openwork structure, gains lightness and dimensionality. The Lucid trousers with a subtle sheerness balance between austerity and sensuality. The ecru Yanis knit top is hard to ignore – made from pure cotton yarn, it stands out with its decorative, wavy neckline finish. The Slowly dress, an ethereal mini with a loose fit, also perfectly conveys summer lightness. The Marlowe blazer in off-white, made from jacquard fabric with a raised, wavy structure, will be perfect as an outer layer. The collection also features long forms. The Shirley dress attracts attention with its unusual line and sensual character – it is made from 100% noble cupro and finished with a subtle slit at the neckline. A more minimalist option is the Jean dress in classic black, with a U-shaped neckline and a striking back cut-out.

For the first time, The Odder Side is also introducing mule shoes, inspired by 90s aesthetics. Made from soft leather with a suede finish, they combine minimalist design with the highest quality craftsmanship. The model stands out with its rounded upper line and a precisely developed last, created in Italy. This is a design conceived for everyday comfort – set on a low, half-centimeter heel, with a lining featuring the brand's embossed logo. “Shoes were an element of the wardrobe that I felt was missing from our collections to complete the entire look. However, we approached this topic with a certain shyness. Creating the perfect pair of shoes that would work with both trousers and dresses is not so obvious. Today I know that our mules will steal the hearts of many girls because they look great in many styles, which we had the opportunity to verify during our photoshoots, where we wanted to use these very shoes almost everywhere,” says Brygida Handzelewicz Wacławek – co-founder of the brand.

The Essence collection, featuring Vanelli Melli, will debut on the evening of March 30 at www.theodderside.com and on March 31 at all The Odder Side brick-and-mortar stores.
