Silk

Wool Silk Cotton

Silk is naturally a very delicate and precious material so it should also be treated this way. We recommend washing it in cold water, adding a little bit of vinegar, lemon juice or salt and rinsing the fabric several times. Remember not to wash silk with ordinary washing powders, as they can damage the fabric, its gloss and color. You can also use detergents for specific fabrics or simply wash silk in a delicate hair shampoo. We do not recommend washing this fabric in the washing machine, even by selecting a gentle program, drying in dryers or intense sunlight. If you want to iron your silk clothes, use a liner, i.e. a thin natural fabric that will protect it and at the same time will let the heat of the iron pass through. You can also use a steamer. Just as it should be skillfully washed and ironed, silk must be stored properly - it is best not to fold it but hang it on a hanger.
